BIOGRAPHY

"Some nights you can hear it; the lion's song for those who fear it."
This proud, silent wolf with his grand white mane truly is a sight to see. His footsteps are as quiet as the snowfall and his movements are imposing. His eyes, while cold and captious, have a curious glimmer in them, and when he locks eye contact, it is not to be broken until he so decires. While he might not be much of a talker, Wulfric is the alpha and the founder of the Edge Walkers, a pack that has made it's nest deep within the mountains. While he does not leave his territory often, his name has been whispered even far away, on lands he has not laid a paw upon in years.
His allseeing eye is to be feared; there is nothing that happens in his lair that he is not aware of. Some rumour he never rests, and even in his sleep he can see what happens around him. Rule breakers, traitors and slacker are all to be punished, and once he is angered he will not calm down for days. Besides his strict nature, Wulfric is greatly valued and loved by his pack members. The main cave Oasis is where all his wolves rest with him, the place which everyone calls home. Wulfric is the one who watches over them, keeps count and makes sure they never run out of food. And sometimes, during the coldest nights, the puppies might be allowed to come snuggle with him to stay warm. This can never be mentioned, though. Nobody can know about his softer side.
Wulfric was not always the pack leader he is today. His home pack was destroyed in a forest fire while he was only a small pup, barely weaned, and he spent a year travelling the cold northern lands, looking for a place to stay, a place to call home. During his travels he came across many packs, none of which felt familiar enough to stay, and encountered many enemies he had to beat to keep on living - and that he did succesfully. It didn't take long for the young wolf to gain a reputation of a unbeatable opponent and even though this might not have been true, Wulfric never denied the rumours. He kept travelling until he arrived on the Mountains, where he met someone quite special.
Wulfric's first love was a young and beautiful wolf called Diadora. With her Wulfric wanted to form his own pack, but soon a tragedy stroke and Diadora died of illness only months after birthing their first litter. Without their mother almost every single puppy passed away, and Wulfric made the decision to let nothing ever happen to his last remaining daughter. While training her hard Wulfric formed a small group of wolves around himself, calling them the Edge Walkers as the mountain they had settled on was called the Lion's Edge. The word about the unbeatable grey wolf had rushed far and the respect for the alpha wolf was unquestioned. Wulfric shut his heart from his pack members and spent a year grieving his lost mate -- but maybe one day he will be able to open his heart once again..?

RELATIONSHIPS

Though Wulfric likes to seem as he loves no-one, that is not the case. He cares deeply for every single wolf in his pack and would sacrafice himself for them with no hesitation. In addition to that, there are some wolves that might or might not be very special to him...
Accalia is Wulfric's oldest living offspring. As every other pup from this litter passed away, Wulfric has always kept an close eye on his daughter. From a young age she was trained very hard so that she could become the best survivor she possibly could. Even though they aren't close, Wulfric believes everything he has done for her is only for her own good.
Elke & Raflyn are like his own offspring to Wulfric. He has been raising them since the pack found them and he has high hopes for them, even higher than for many of his biological puppies.
Luve is his most trusted warrior, a wolf Wulfric would trust his pack to if anything was happen to him. Even though he wouldn't consider the beta wolf his friend, this just might be the closest thing to a real friendship this wolf has.
Rex, oh, Rex. Rex was one of the first wolves to ever join the Edge Walkers and he has been on Wulfric's side through it all. After Wulfric's mate's death Rex was always there for him, and these two have survived so many hard times together that their bond has become unbreakable. So unbreakable, as the matter of fact, that it might have bloomed into something even more. Is there a reason Rex seems to cuddle with Wulfric every night, or that they seem to be sharing a bit too many friendly kisses for it to be friendly anymore? Yeah, everybody knows. Everybody knows.
