Hunter has spent most of his life dealing with hardship after hardship. He has seen more than his fair share of heartache and has developed a very stoic worldview as a result.
After losing his beloved pack to a wintertime famine, Hunter left his home territory in hopes of starting anew far from past tragedies. After numerous rejections ( who wanted a starvation-weakened wolf, after all?), he finally thought he'd found a new family in a small dispersal pack. He was accepted warmly, and one of the females even took interest in him. Unfortunately, it was all a ruse. The pack was inexperienced and quickly fell apart, and his potential mate abandoned him. It was at this point he resigned himself to the harsh fate life had seemingly dealt him.
Or so he thought.
Luna came into his life when he needed a friend the most. While hesitant to accept her at first, Hunter eventually realized that her friendship was genuine. As the two spent more time together, sharing their stories and experiences, their friendship eventually grew into love. It wasn't long before they took one another as mates. Hunter is deeply devoted to Luna, and he knows she feels the same about him. While he still retains much of his stoicism, Hunter has become more willing to open his heart to the world again -- both the good and the bad.
