Jambo is a castaway, homeless and aimless, only roaming the lands of Wolvden in search of food, when he eventually came across a wolf patrol, the Beta of the Pale Heart pack along with the other members, but with the alpha absent. He then introduced himself, this would be his chance to join the pack, but his shy personality made the job difficult. He bowed his head, approaching slowly. The Beta felt compassion for the wolf and allowed him to eat the doe he had hunted. Then, after a conversation in the moonlight and the presence of the stars, the wolf captivated the Beta, and the Beta invited him to join the pack, and Jambo readily accepted.
Jambo is a soft-hearted wolf who is incredibly kind to others around him, always trying to make the lives of those around him a little better than his own, but he is often unsuccessful in this regard. He is a shy canid who is more of a listener than a talker, but once his confidence is aroused he will start to open more and more dialogue with the companion in question. He is quite childish and doesn't seem to have matured that much even after reaching over a year of age, which was probably a lack of a motherly upbringing and interaction with the outside world.
He is a submissive wolf that will always bow his head and put his tail between his legs at the sign of any barking in his direction, often evading whimpering when he is addressed with aggressive or arrogant tones. Jambo is very easy to frighten and because he cannot see the world through his faces he is afraid of anything, the slightest noise to him can be a real grizzly bear knocking on the door of his den.
