Kaede

Kaede was chased out of his pack for being too weak-minded when hunting. Shiki brought him into the pack as a hunter, but as he went on more hunts, Kaede grew more and more disgusted by killing. He now works as an herbalist for the pack after choosing to lead a pacifist life.

Kaede is very dedicated to his pack, and will do anything in order to save them. This is also part of his reasoning for becoming a healer.

He is best friends with Yumiko, and is the father of Longwei and Vanna. However, due to his constant travels while foraging for medicinal materials, he rarely gets to see them. This has lead to a strained relationship with his family.
