Queen of The Travelers, Lear had always been a quiet femme, keeping to her own and looking out for her friends and family members. Throughout her life from puphood to adulthood, she stayed away from others who she knew would being trouble to her pack. Authorative and not keen on taking smack from anyone, Lear quickly rose through the pecking rank as she proved herself and her level of authority over other wolves, putting them into their places.
Approached by many wishing to join her pack, she turned them away as she came into adulthood, eyes lingering longer on the femmes that left, rather than the males, fine breeding stock that they were. She felt nothing but an aching hollowness as she recalled all of the happy pairings, seeing off her brothers and sisters as they took mates and left, their parents dying from sickness and leaving her alone with Goneril, a she-wolf that had joined the pack after her youngest brother had left. No longer alone, she bonded well with the other she wolf, discovering feelings she never knew existed, and grew closer, wanting to build a family with her but knowing it impossible for two she-wolves to breed and have a litter come of it.
As time passed, she discovered that Goneril had a hidden secret, that she was in fact a he. Not minding that fact, she continued to embrace her pack member, loving Goneril just the same. They could at least carry on their bloodline together, and at Goneril's request, she continued to call her mate by her preferred name and pronouns, settling comfortably to raise many litters as the future blessed them - and to grow their pack to be strong and united, no matter what would befall them.
