Leela was frustrated with her pack, and her homelands. When her mother chased her away she didn't stop running until she was far away from her home. A new world, a new start. She knew she was capable of caring for her own pack, and she had no patience for groveling in font of others just to be accepted into a pack. She was young, but a wolf her age named Lyra joined her and they spent weeks as a pack of two. Over that time they formed a very close bond, becoming the best of friends. With time other wolves began to join their little pack. Although it took Leela a while to trust the newest members she came to love them as her family. She loved them, but she would not let her feelings get in the way of what was best for the pack. Due to this she kept her distance, letting Lyra deal with the social aspect of leading. She had to make hard choices, she could not help every wolf they found. To her pack mates she seems to handle the responsibility well. Lyra knows how tormented Leela is, for at night once everyone is asleep Leela will confide in Lyra.
