Meirleach

The youngest of Misneach's biological offspring, and the result of an illicit affair with an outsider - an effort to bring more powerful blood into the pack and produce the prophesied successor with The Sight.

Meirleach lacks the markings that the prophecy depicted, but already exhibits a vitality and strength that surpasses his older siblings. This has made him Misneach's favourite, and caused his older siblings to resent him - the half-pack bastard that threatens to usurp their birthright.

There are whispers that Meirleach is being secretly groomed to be Misneach's Successor, a dangerous rumour that could incite a bloody conflict with his siblings and other ambitious pack members vying for the leadership position.

Much to everyone"s surprise, Lorcan has publicly sworn fealty to his twin sister Mishka, backing her claim to inherit the pack leadership and stepping back himself. This political move so close to Misneach's retirement has changed the game - with the two eldest heirs standing united, Meirleach's own position has been weakened, as he can no longer rely on turning the two against one another.
