Meili

Meili came from a pack of incredibly brutal wolves. She was chased out for killing the pack leader after he murdered her sister for not finishing her prey during a hunt. She barely escaped with her life after being hunted by her former pack members, and she still has to be wary of them reappearing whenever she leaves the den. Shiki found her in the deciduous forest, and made her a member of the pack after she demonstrated her fast speed and reflexes.

Meili is very pessimistic after her prior experiences with her first pack. She often shows a lack of trust in other pack members because of this. She is only willing to take orders from Shiki, as he is the only one who has shown himself worthy of her respect. She is a chaser for the hunting party.

Due to her strength and her inability to take orders from others, she is regarded as the "queen" of the pack, although her actual status is just that of a normal pack member.
