Gwen

Gwen knows he is the best thing ever. While he is happy to show off any of his attributes, the rest of the pack can only groan when they see him walk by.

Gwen struts along the cliff face, precariously balancing on the edge, his pads digging into the jagged rock. Looking up at him, his red fur is a blaze against the rocky landscape and you wonder how he manages to hunt at all. You later learn he doesn't hunt, or do anything. Though, apparently he occasionally shares stories with the pups.

When Gwen's pelt darkened, and his fur looked like the burnt embers rather than a raging fire, Cailleach thought it was time for him to join the hunters. "No thanks," Gwen said, scoffing.

The next day, Oir escorted him to Frigid Moon Cave, the hunter's cave. Gwen was distraught. "At least Cailleach is letting you lead your own hunts," Oir said, not a twinge of sympathy in his eyes.

Gwen leaps into Frigid Moon Cave with a grouse in his maw. Wagging his tail, he drops his kill right in front of Oir's paws, who was speaking with Scamall and Bainne. "My first kill on my first try," he says with a grin. Oir groans.
