I remember when my siblings were first born. I was quite a bit older than them; almost an adult. They were quite a pack when they were little, that's for sure. I think Scoria's plan was for the five of them to become their own hunting party, but that plan failed when the smallest of the five died. So, when it came time to form a hunting party out of the family, I stepped up to lead them. I had already been hunting for a while-they needed my skill as a finisher in order to be successful. The others filled into their roles beautifully. Gneiss is incredibly observant and always has been. They can track down any scent trail with ease and has no issues stepping back to make way for the hunters. They've always been the quietest of them. Eclogite, Amphibolite, and Ore have been play-hunting together practically since they were born. They seem to communicate without even talking. Eclogite is the most outgoing of the three-the other two let him lead without questions. Amphi and Ore are both quite hyper. They need to run and they do it well. Ore has a playfulness to him that makes him a pleasure to work with. Amphi is a little bit fiercer. I feel like sometimes she wishes she were the finisher, but that's my job. I know there are some wolves in the pack who don't like our new leader. But I have no problems with him. As far as I'm concerned, trusting him will keep the pack together.
