Birch was born to a pack called Ghosts in the Snow. He was born to Faolan and Telia. Eventually, the pack decided they couldn't keep all of the litter as the conditions were hard and the pups would likely not survive. He had a tearful goodbye to his parents and left to the trade center. He was sad, but tried to think of it as him serving his pack to the end. Sadly, his siblings were all bought before him. There he met Storm Striker, a male who recently started his pack. He was amazed by Birch's incredible talent and smarts, and quickly took him under his wing. Birch then joined the pack and lives there, eagerly awaiting for when he becomes an adult.
