Name: Nile
Rank: Scout
Family: Alon (Father) Merida (Mother) Pablo (Brother)
Mate: None
As you try and find Nile among the dense forest, you prick your ears to a couple of voices near the river. Their voices muffled, but you could still recognize them. As you creep closer, your eyes widen to see Merida and Nile speaking with eachother. Though, you take note that Merida wasn’t very.. happy to see Nile. “Oh? Well, maybe I could-“ he was abruptly cut off by the older scout, staring down at her son. “No, Nile. You’re far too young for this short trip, and it’s clearly dangerous out in the prairie.” Nile frowns, “But, it’s been explored countless times already! Surely it wouldn’t hurt to bring a companion, right? Especially you’re son?” Merida shook her head, stomping her foot in impatience. “I said no, Nile. No means no, don’t you understand? I’m only doing this because I care for your safety. Now run along now, I’m sure Pablo is waiting for you back at camp.” And with that, she disappears behind the bushes. Nile raised a paw to follow her, but hesitated and sighed. He started padding towards your direction, briefly spotting you among the undergrowth. “Oh, it’s you. I’m sorry that you had to see that.. it’s just, I really want to come with my mother on her scouting patrols. But she always uses the same excuses!” He groaned, lowering his head. “I just want to spend time with her, get to know her more.. she wasn’t really present during me or my brother’s puphood. I was working to become a scout to atleast make amends with my mother but..” he trails off, his voice devolving into a whisper. “Never mind..” he brushes past you, his head and tail low.
Nile is one of the Alpha’s pups, being a twin to his brother, Pablo. He doesn’t speak much, but he does spend a lot of time with his brother and his puppysitter, Boba. He’s quiet, but surprisingly intelligent. Nothing compared to his brother. He and his brother rely on eachother, and make sure the other is okay. It’s been proven the two won’t leave the other’s side, and when they’re together, they’re a reckless duo. Nile maybe quiet and neutral, even blunt, but he knows about his father’s and mother’s affair they had. Unlike his brother, Nile is the one who still can’t seem to get that out of his mind. Which leads him trying to reach out to his mother, Merida. Who spends most of her days scouting, leaving the camp often. He appreciates his father’s company, but he’d much rather wish Merida would appreciate the two pups too.
