Blue

Blue appeared around Coigreach. He can't remember a lot. He was just a puppy, and he can't remember his first pack at all. It is suspected this is the doing of some sort of power, and it especially affects him around a certain time a year, when certain powers arise in the world, strongest.
His first memory is wandering and getting his right hind paw stuck in a bear claw hunting trap... A grown wolf would most likely have been clenched shut in the trap, but being a small pup, Blue still had some room to wiggle. He had a LOT of luck that it didn't fully shut on his paw, or it could have been a lot worse.
Instead, he got some cuts on his paw, and still had room to wiggle around, which made some more cuts. It also really hurt due to the impact.
Nellie came across him stuck in the bear claw. She immediatly tried to get him free, but the only thing she did was cut her own hands open on the bear claw...
She wanted to go and get help, but she had to be dragged away hurt and exhausted...
When they got back, Blue was gone. Only some blood was left and some white fur. There was a small trail into the grass, but the blood was untraceable soon after. Nellie searched until she was exhausted, and had to be dragged/carried home again. She slept in the den that night.
Blue meanwhile had the worst ever night ever. Worst luck struck him.
He got caught up in a huge storm. Then, he got stuck and had to drag himself through the sharpest thorns he ever encountered. He got stuck there for a while, and Blue was lost.
Or was he?
He dragged himself through all of it, and then...
By a miracle, Nellie woke up bloody again. It wasn't her blood this time; her hands were already bandaged. Instead, she woke up to a bloody, hurt, exhausted, but still very content puppy sleeping in her arms.
Nellie was ecstatic and took care of him on herself.

This was where the trouble began a little..
She got so close bonded with Blue, that both were really attached to each other. She hunted for him, made meat for him, trained him herself... She did EVERYTHING herself, even though there was plently wolves around to teach him the true ways of the wolf.

Blue and Nellie are attached to each other, and bonded strongly. Until this day, they remain together and side by side in all.
