Rinva was the very first wolf Sha' Ru met when he traveled these lands with the strange black wolf by his side.
When he'd first heard Sha' Ru's howl cut through the silence, he'd been fascinated and immediately had run towards the sound, throwing back his own head to sing his response.
If asked, Sha' Ru would deny wholeheartedly any mention of his reaction to seeing Rinva for the first time as he passed through the fog. Rinva would often laugh and tell those who asked anyways.
When they'd first seen one another, Sha' Ru had audibly gasped and, upon Rinva's advancement, immediately began wagging his tail- ears pinned back and a low whine in his throat- already showing happy submissive signs to the other, despite exuding an obvious air of power and dominance.
They'd been head over tail from that moment on.
The black she-wolf had helped them find their future den, a nice cave deep in the woods. And she helped them figure themselves out and was there to howl with them as they made their courtship known to the night. And she was there to congratulate them when they made it known that they were to be mates.
With Sha' Ru leading their pack, he placed Rinva in charge as his fellow Alpha. So Rinva took on the role of Scout, the first of their pack and most experienced. He enjoyed the work and more often than not, he and Sha' Ru would explore together, leaving their other packmates in charge while they galloped through their territory to cross their borders and explore.
Of course, this didn't always happen, Sha' Ru did have responsibilities at the den.
But Rinva loved his job and Sha' Ru loved him, so they made their time apart work.
And soon they became father's! Their good friend, Korva, offered to be the surrogate Mother to their pups, should the day come that they wanted a litter. The two Alphas were, of course, ecstatic and they spent days together discussing who would contribute to their future pups gene-pool and what they should call them.
In the end, they settled on Sha' Ru helping Korva bring their pups into the world and Rinva got to name their first born.
Soon, they'd birthed two healthy pups - the first a small silver male, and the second a bigger black male. Rinva named the silver pup Kludd, and Sha' Ru named the other Soren. Korva was elated for her best friends and vowed to watch to pups to the very best of her abilities.
Rinva loves his pack and he would do anything for them, even if it cost him his life.
