Hatchet

The youngest of the Dark Three, a prophesied group of dark-furred wolves that came to the Evening Floodriver pack near the end of a long dry season. Their strange powers and uncanny behavior upended the ancient roles of the old pack and led to the split between the Floodriver wolves and the [pack name] Oksokans.

Hatchet is the most seemingly "normal" of the three. Although he is nominally mated to Parashu, his charms and appetite have led to his mating with most of the wolves in the pack, which Adze and Parashu permit in the interest of securing his bloodline. However, none of his children seem to display the eerie powers or strange coloration of the Dark Three, and many of them have died before reaching adulthood or left the pack as soon as they matured.
