Roarke was the last remaining descendant of the Greymoor bloodline who ruled his pack for many generations. His upbringing was pretty typical for the most part, learning how to be a good leader and he certainly had the smarts for it. Roarke was charming and had a way with words, not only that but he took those words very seriously and never went back on what he promised which made him very popular with his pack.
Growing up he spent a lot of time learning things in the company of his second in command and guard; Farrel. The two were together since puphood as was custom in the pack's traditions so the two would form a strong, brotherly bond that would benefit them when they got older. The two boys were thick as thieves and often got into trouble with their little adventures.
However, everything Roarke knew would one day come crashing down as a plague ravaged his homeland and killed most of his pack. His parents and siblings were among the casualties which put off most of the remaining pack members. Most of them fled to try and save their own lives and Roarke couldn't make them stay. The only wolves remaining with him were his second, Farrel, and his pregnant partner Jana. Jana wanted to leave as well but Farrel convinced her to stay.
The three left their home and travelled a while until meeting a strangely helpful she-wolf by the name of Tala who helped the newcomers settle into their new home.

Roarke was lost at first about what to do, they were only 3 young wolves who suddenly had to fend for themselves. The path became clear soon enough though, they needed more pack members. Roarke's charms were quick to attratch a few loners to his pack, including two females who he would form a very close relationship with; Ghost and Lupa.
Months passed and Roarke recruited more wolves and the pack started coming together. Food wasn't an issue and safety was handled. Roarke now had hunters, scouts and even a healer and life was going smoothly. Roarke also soon found himself being a father to his first daughter; Tala (by Ghost) who was soon joined by Avis, Varian and Sadie (by Lupa).
