Personality: A pretty boy. A funky pretty boy. Izzra was born during the worst storm of the spring; his mother, who always wanted to be independent, had insisted on being out alone when the storm hit, and she went into labour prematurely. A Grizzly- just out of hibernation- could have made a quick meal of her, but decided instead to shelter Rathlow and Izzra in her den, with her own pups. Izzra was named in her honour.
He's grown up into a sweet, gentle pup, with a special soft-spot for bears and the other non-wolf animals of Sanctuary territory. Beloved by his packmates- and especially the pack's pups- he can be a little clingy and nervous when left alone, and also faces some suspicion from the survivors of Sanctuary's civil war, who remember the High Mountain wolves' extreme reluctance to fight, and the traitorous Jumper's distaste for violence against any animal (having grown up too sheltered to ever have to hunt for his own dinner)/
Naming Conventions: Environment. Pups with this naming convention are named after an element of the place they were born, and given common-use nicknames derived from these. These nicknames follow shared conventions, passed down along matrilineal lines. Izzra's family share the "Ra" in their nickname. (Grizzly Bear ->Â Izzra )
