𝑀𝜄𝜋𝜇𝜏𝜀𝑠 𝜌𝛼𝑠𝑠 𝛼𝜋𝜕 𝜏𝘩𝜎𝑠𝜀 𝜕𝛼𝜑𝑠 𝑠𝜀𝜀𝑚 𝑙𝜎𝜋𝑔 𝛼𝑔𝜎, 𝛼 𝜕𝜄𝑠𝜏𝛼𝜋𝜏 𝜏𝘩𝜎𝜇𝑔𝘩𝜏

The former heiress of  one of the Unseelie's most powerful and trusted members, Xinoa was always a bit lost in the world in which she was born. She is the result of her father's obsession with a mortal whom he was quick to pluck from the mortal world and hide away in Avalon. As such Xinoa was perhaps the most powerful being in Avalon, posessing all of her father's power and none of his weaknesses. Though she didn't share the typical fae weakness, it was quickly discovered that she was not without any. As Xinoa grew and was trained in the ways of the Unseelie court, the bright and haunting world of Avalon dimmed around her, light seemed far away and soon she had completely lost her peripheral vision. She was going blind.

 In order to preserve their good name and power within their kingdom, Xinoa's family hid the truth, removing her from her place at court beside the young princess Azmerezzah with whom she'd become close. But fae politics are fragile and dangerous and with Azmerezzah's oldest brother believing all his siblings to be a threat, Xinoa's sudden seclusion was seen as suspiscious and suddenly her future within Avalon became but a dream.

𝑇𝘩𝜀𝑟𝜀'𝑠 𝛼 𝜈𝜎𝜄𝑐𝜀 𝛼𝜋𝜕 𝜄𝜏'𝑠 𝜏𝑟𝜑𝜄𝜋𝑔 𝜏𝜎 𝜕𝑟𝛼𝑔 𝑚𝜀 𝜕𝜎𝜔𝜋.

𝐼𝑓 𝜑𝜎𝜇 𝑔𝜎 𝜏𝘩𝜀𝜋 𝐼'𝑚 𝑔𝜎𝜄𝜋𝑔 𝜔𝜄𝜏𝘩 𝜑𝜎𝜇 𝜋𝜎𝜔.

Assassins were hired to kill her and her family and as fate would have it, they came for them one day while Xinoa was playing in the gardens with her childhood friend, Calum. The murder of a child-knight was apparently inconsequential as when they came, Calum was wounded and Xinoa was forced to protect the pair. With her immense power and little training she managed to save herself and Calum, but at great cost.

𝐼 𝑐𝛼𝜋 𝑓𝜀𝜀𝑙 𝜑𝜎𝜇, 𝜏𝘩𝜎𝜇𝑔𝘩

𝑊𝛼𝜅𝜀 𝑚𝜀 𝑓𝑟𝜎𝑚 𝜏𝘩𝜄𝑠 𝜕𝑟𝜀𝛼𝑚𝜄𝜋'

Opening a portal the pair escaped to the mortal world. So long as they never returned to Avalon and stayed hidden, they were safe. Xinoa, however, would never see again. Exhausted and completely blind, she and Calum did their best to cope with their new life. Calum helped her learn to live without sight, staying by her side out of his secret affection for her as much as his own desire for companionship. At one point a romantic relationship between the two seemed unavoidable but some time after Azmerezzah's exile Xinoa put an end to any future with Calum.

𝐹𝑙𝜄𝜌 𝜏𝘩𝜀 𝑠𝜔𝜄𝜏𝑐𝘩, 𝜑𝜎𝜇'𝑟𝜀 𝜅𝜀𝜀𝜌𝜄𝜋' 𝑚𝜀 𝜄𝜋 𝜏𝘩𝜀 𝜕𝛼𝑟𝜅

𝑀𝜑 𝜈𝜄𝑠𝜄𝜎𝜋'𝑠 𝑐𝑙𝜀𝛼𝑟, 𝐼 𝑠𝜀𝜀 𝜑𝜎𝜇 𝑙𝜀𝑓𝜏 𝛼 𝑚𝛼𝑟𝜅.

Xinoa has come far since her childhood, after spending so long alone with Calum, Azmerezzah eventually found her and she resumed her service to the fae princess. She now lives her life fairly normally, learning to rise above her disability and even developing her skills enough to become a scout and using her magic to navigate. She is dutiful and as far as fae go, she is probably the most honourable. At the very least, you won't need to walk on eggshells in order to have a conversation. She is quick to help newcomers safely navigate life among true fae. Most heed her warnings but, those who do not often find themselves in uncomfortable situations.
