Caresq, fondly called Care by everyone in the pack, was found by Eira while she was scouting the Forest near the Pack-Den. She asked him where his family was, but he does not seem to remember, nor have a good understanding of how to communicate with other wolves.
He looked neglected, like he had not been groomed for weeks, tufts of darker fur and shedding clinging to his grey coat. He did not seem too bothered by it though.
Since Eira could not smell or hear any other wolves around and the little grey furball was already weaned, she decided to take the pup back to their Den. She stopped every once in a while to mark different areas, trying to obscure the way that leads to the Pack Den just in Case someone was indeed looking for him. She knew she was breaking a Pack rule and putting herself and her own puppies in danger with adopting this young one, but she could not just leave him there could she?
After arriving at the Den and fighting with Thran about keeping the pup, the wolves that were witnessing the arrival decided to take care of the little wolf in the meantime, grooming him and trying to ask him questions about his life so far. He seemed to open up more while being nurtured so kindly and soon won the hearts of those around him. The wolves decided to confront their leader, letting him know that they were not upset by Eira's behaviour and would still respect the rules, asking him, if the puppy could stay.
The lead wolf was feeling confident in his hunting team and since it was spring, he was not too afraid of the additional mouth to feed. Caresq was allowed to stay.
