Svelte - Jarl of Wintergreen

Born to former Jarl Hylae in a litter of nine, Svelte is no stranger to competition, friendly or otherwise. Her puphood consisted of testing her mettle with her littermates, striving to survive in the mountainous conditions Wintergreen held. While very young she gained her mother’s favor, and was crowned heir and Thane of Wintergreen.

Growing up as all wolves do, Svelte saw seven of her littermates leave Wintergreen, either through death or in search of a mate. Through these trials she met a wolf that would eventually become her most trusted ally within Wintergreen.

A prankster by nature, Svelte delighted in schemes that often dragged her best friend and blooming Steward, Romulus, into her shenanigans. While Romulus painted himself a trickster to shoulder the blame, Svelte eagerly planned their upcoming hijinks.

All this merriment was interrupted one spring afternoon, however, as news reached her ears through Romulus: her mother was ill, and with her age, it was unlikely she was to recover. Svelte was forced to step up as leader, a task she found quite difficult, but slid into the role as time went on and Jarl Hylae’s health continued to fail. Before summer had a chance to grace Wintergreen, Svelte claimed the title of Jarl, naming Romulus as her Steward.

While young and fun-loving, Jarl Svelte has a vision for Wintergreen, and she’s hoping to see it through.
