Vanja

Vanja is the lead wolf of the wolfpack known as Lyngren, meaning lightning branch. She can always be found with a raven not far behind, often turning to it to listen to it's caws attentively. Bearing the pelt of a raven too large to be imagined and bearing long fangs and tough fur, this large wolf seems almost otherworldly. She's a stoick leader, often mistaken for cold, but the truth remains that she cares deeply about her pack and all who join it. She tells them long tales, of valkyrie which ride upon wolves and fly alongside them as ravens, of the warrior maidens from a distant realm here to find the spirits of the noblest warriors. The minds of the young are filled with promise of a distant realm and purpose in the life after this one. And the adults? Mixed oppinions, some find her stories too strange to believe, others are convinced that if they prove themselves in life, they'll join those ravens in the afterlife. What does she herself believe? Well, for her it's not a matter of believing, for she already knows.
