Kodiak

Kodiak had grown old before he knew it. He had had many pups, though most of them did not survive past their first year. The few that did, he taught and trained to only watch over the lands of Animus. He knew he wasn't going to last much longer so he journeyed to the pond beyond the Animus caves, where his ancestors resided. There they once again appeared in front of him. He wasn't to pass away and leave this world and his few pups. They would give up their powers for him to become immortal. It wasn't going to be an easy prosses, nor painless, they told him. But they needed him to guide their lines in the right direction since they would not be able to for much longer.

Notes:

• The Animus pack appears to be in trouble. Their Main Family has no wolf with the intention of stepping up to lead once Shiri passes.
• An Animus wolf was led to me by my daughter, Aisa, to inquire the whereabouts of distant family. I pointed her in the right direction. The rest is up to her.
• The Animus wolf that approached me found her distant family and persuaded a young female to help the Animus pack. The others don't appear to be happy.
• The young female, Shasta, took over the Animus pack, and watched all but one of the main family abandon their home.
