Born on a late May day, a litter of 2 pups would call this cozy tree roots den their home for the first month of life. Born in the heaths of Lost River, one pup would be the runt of their litter. As the puppy grew and took her first walks of life out of the den, she would often be seen tugging on whoever's tails they saw or staying in the den whenever possible. She would meet their full pack, being made up of 6 adults and 3 yearlings. Other than them, there would be 5 other litters.
As Briar grew older, She would not wander too far, staying close by. After barely watching her parents hunt animals such as mule deer calves and young elk bulls, she would have considerable interest in hunting as well. During this time, the pack would often have barely any prey to eat with Briar gorging themselves at first chance, usually always being full.
Despite all this, they would go on her first hunt at 8 months old, being brought along by her pack to hunt. With the day being unpredictable, the pack expected to have a difficult hunt ahead of them. However, Briar would prove themselves during their hunt. Catching an adult mule deer buck with a lot of help; she would get mildly injured, having a bent ear that would slowly heal. . During their time with the pack, she would often bring down hares to share with her pack. With the weather being warm as she grew, she learned to survive and hunt newborn moose fawns with her pack. Briar ultimately decided to leave her pack and now finds herself a member of her current pack.
