Trace is a quiet wolf who would rather listen than speak. He has a dutiful personality, and it's not necessarily that he's submissive or especially likes being told what to do, it's that he likes to feel useful and provide for his pack. He's responsible - once a task has been set to him he will carry it out religiously, and to the best of his ability. As the first to join Maze's pack, he became a hunter to provide for them, and has remained a hunter ever since. He knows that food is one of the most important resources a pack can have, so he spends every day stalking down prey to the best of his ability, never taking a day off.
He is a confidant for his leader and mate, Maze. He listens to her joys and sorrows, her discoveries and secrets, and keeps them all close to his heart. He loves to lounge with her after a long day and watch the pups wrestle and play. He's an excellent father, and would make for a great pupsitter were he not already a hunter.
He can be a little distant from the other wolves, but he has nothing but warmth for his mate and pups. Silence does not have to be cold, quiet does not have to be shy. Above all he is dedicated to his duties, his family, and his pack - and nothing will stop him from working to provide for them.
