Morrigan

Morrigan was born a fighter. As the largest pup in her litter, she was also the most aggressive, and she was frequently found bullying her smaller siblings. She was a menace to the pupsitters, and was taking down small animals on her own far before the older wolves allowed her to hunt.

She had a brutal nature, and a thirst for violence - tapered only slightly as she aged. By the time she was full-grown, she knew it was time to leave the pack she had been born in, for she had outgrown it by leagues. Her journey was long, but when she encountered the Order of the Stars, she knew it was fate. The pack was small, dwindling from sickness and suffering under the rule of an aged leader, and Morrigan knew what had to be done.

Worming her way into the pack, she worked her way through the ranks, establishing herself as a fine advisor to Nymeria. The similarities in appearance were enough to start rumors; was she a long-lost pup of the queen? The elders of the pack spoke of fate and destiny, and Morrigan did little to dissuade the whispers. When Nymeria finally took her last breath, Morrigan was uncontested as her successor.

A year into her rule, Morrigan has found herself battered and scarred by the bloodshed she has seen. Her youth and inexperience combined led her to stumble quickly, and the sickness in the pack continued to take older wolves until she had no one left to turn to for advice. It became her responsibility to grow the pack, and she took the task of defending their territory onto her own shoulders. Dedication to the pack has earned her an admiration from its members, though her temper often starts whispers of her viciousness among her fellow wolves.
