A tear fell from Beau's eye as the pack leader, Yonih, took her last breath. As the air left her body, the mystical blue markings on her skin floated away from her. They held suspended in the air as if awaiting some command. From Yonih's teachings, Beau understood these markings were remnants from the Lunar world and marked the wolf that could enter that dreamlike world. As the chosen successor, Beau knew that that task fell to him. Taking a deep breath, he took a step forward and let out a large howl to express that he will be the wolf responsible for this amazing responsibility. Slowing these markings fell to him and settled into their new place on his fur. He let out a large breath and jumped in surprise as his breath was glowing blue. Seeing the markings settled on Beau, the rest of the pack let out loud howls and barks of congratulations!
