Lunatics is Latin for 'moonstruck'. A common word that is derived from it is 'Luna' which, in multiple languages, directly translates to 'moon' in English.

Pack Lore: Once formally a young, snow white pup whose mother is Achillea. One night, whilst the young pup, formally named 'Snow', in honor of her coat, was out exploring due to her eagerness to go out and see the world, glowing spores drifted down from out of no where it seemed to the young pup. The spores were nice, playful, and whispering things Snow couldn't hear. She played with the spores for awhile before they suddenly drifted towards the pup and clung to her coat. Unaware of what their actual intents were, she trotted around proudly showing off her glowing blue coat to her imaginary crowd of wolves, all 'ooh' and 'ahh'ing in awe at the pup who had the coat in which they could and would never have. After awhile, the glowing dimmed, which didn't catch the pup's attention at first till she was left in darkness. She turned her head to look at her white coat to see nothing but now a dark blue coat that was unnatural. The pup dashed back to her mother, who was frantically looking for her missing pup. Upon her pups return, she was overwhelm with joy, but concern. What had happened to her pups beautiful white coat? As the pup yapped on quietly, Achillea nodded with her brows furrowed. Nothing was similar to the tale that was told by this pup, but it was the only thing that could explain such an event. 

The newest healer, Hyacinth , wove grass strands for the pup to wear. After time, those woven strands held glowing spores whom seemed to be hibernating, asleep in the tightly woven strands.
