No one was surprised anymore that Saga had fallen pregnant again. This was just routine by this point. Neither was the idea that at least one of them would inherit some messed up genes, provided by Saga herself.

He made it to adolescence before his genetics showed itself. The thick sludge that had been occasionally spotted during his pup hood clumped into a seemingly melting front leg. The glowing eyes were a surprise. His littermates had had enough, and left soon after.

This meant he got along great with his older sister, Morana, which led to the belief he was like her, evil. He wasn't, and didn't care about Loki's connection to the afterlife, something Morana did her best to combat.
