Iðunn

Technically Serapis and Chloris's third child and first daughter (actually fifth child and second daughter, but that's not talked about).

She would regularly take the lead of the swarm of pups, leading them into mischief masterminded by her oldest brother, Loki, with his twin, Ahti, acting as the damage control. Early on, the three of them became as close as close could be.

Ever the charmer, she convinced her father to take her on a brief tour of the Dreamlands, much to the chagrin of Chloris upon their return. A sheepish apology was met with the laughter of her siblings, and Loki's praise. He had taken the reputation of his namesake to heart, and wished to embrace the more positive aspects of the god.

With Serapis's decree of apprenticeships, Iðunn begged her parents to let her train under the scouts. They were both concerned, as that was very far for their baby to travel, but Loki and Ahti managed to convince them to let her.

Iðunn was the first to notice that her mother was acting off. The hunter had been moving slowly, and the apprentice was the first one to notice. She was also the only one to notice, because Chloris had moved into the pregnancy cave with a glowing feather, and shortly after the cries of pups were heard.

Three new siblings. Iðunn, Ahti and Loki didn't know what to feel. Sure, new siblings were cool and all, but all three held secret reservations.

Loki was immortal, and three new loved ones were three more he would eventually never see again.

Ahti was nervous, he remembered the mischief the other two caused as pups.

Iðunn felt selfish, and knew these three would be contenders to the Pack Leader role she wanted.


They warmed to Thor, of course. Iðunn couldn't speak for her brothers, but she enjoyed practising scouting with the pup, as well as passing on all the information she knew about leadership to the boy. Best for him to know, just in case.
