Piper was taken in as a new born with the pack, being too young to remember this she has only ever assumed to have been born into the pack. As soon as she arrived she showed a great understanding of herbalism and watched the herbalist Pru often. When she was old enough she trained with her every day causing them to develop a mother daughter relationship which benefitted Pipers lessons. When the day came and Piper grew up, Pru had decided to leave the pack and start a new one as she new she wouldn't be allowed to have her own pups due to the lack of need for more herbalists and raising Piper made her realise how she adored being around pups. Prus departure affected Piper greatly but only fed her ambition to become a great herbalist. Piper now has her own pups and intends to raise them all as Pru raised her
