Mate is Alsec, but she accepts that he isn't a normal wolf and sticks with him because he's a good dad

Not the type to get easily jealous

Yuukon is a very easy going wolf. She left her mountain pack with her sisters Amaduak and Chelan at an early age in an attempt to learn about the world more independently. She finds a fascination with other creatures and wolves and won't hesitate to bound straight up to them and shoot off a million questions, much to the embarrassment of her sisters. The three eventually found themselves in the Taiga and Yuukon enthusiastically declared that this would be the base of operations (AKA, their new home) for exploring the great unknown.

Yuukon came across a strange looking wolf whilst out on a stroll. He was slightly smaller than her, smelled funny and spoke with a strange dialect she'd never heard before. Naturally this intrigued her and she invited him to see the lake. As they sat, lazily batting fish in the water and chatting about their previous lives for hours, she realised was falling for him.

She kept visiting him in the woods, with each time inbetween becoming increasingly unbearable when they were not together. They would lay in the grass and she would laugh at his funny accent and hilarious jokes, but also there were the serious conversations, where he would talk about his encounters with humans. These talks would set her fur on edge but he insisted that these humans were actually quite nice, not something she had heard of before. He spoke of them like a brother would speak of his siblings and it confused her. Most nights she listened to him until she fell asleep at his flank.

Her sisters knew something was up, and after much pressure from Amaduak she finally spilled all about her secret boyfriend and promised to bring him over.
Amaduak and Chelan exchanged unsure glances when Yuukon introduced Alsec. This oddball was her infatuation? Their looks must have caught Alsecs eye, as he quickly shot out a joke or two to break the ice, leaving Amaduak in fits of laughter whilst Chelan cringed with a resigned smile.

It wasn't long until Alsec was a proper part of the pack.
