Having grown up in the Metanoia pack, Ledæ is a strong believer in the idea that hard work and family will reap happiness and personal growth. However, he found that his stoic nature and intimidating stare made it difficult to find companions. In the beginning weeks of his life as a dispersal, this did not bother him so much. However he had come to find that his nature had left him feeling lonely. He often wondered the paths through the mountainous region, along the beds of lakes, gazing up at the night sky, never empty, but full of light.
On one such night he stood, looming over the water, and gazed longingly into the foggy distance when, suddenly, he heard the sound of a young wolf victorious. The fog cleared to reveal young wolf with a beautiful coat that captured the stars in the night that he loves so dearly, displaying them for all to see. In her muzzle, he saw the moon, and in her eyes, the fire of the sun. She had a fresh kill in her muzzle, a small rabbit. Standing atop a small boulder along the edge of the lake, the moonlight reflected on the water, casting its light onto the stranger in such a way that she alone could capture the sky's beauty so that he could not turn his head to look anywhere but at her.
He watched as she filled her belly with the night's kill, and marveled at her elegance. And so, his quest to start a life with her began.
