Even weeks after his birth, Tanner noticed his brothers preform better than him causing them to gain their parents and the packs attention more, this motivated him to become the favourite son to his dad as he looked up to him greatly. Tanners father Vincent wasnt very fond of playing or being around the pups but he would look after them when he had to but overall he ignored them and their achievements, this caused Tanner to become more aggressive and develop a pessimistic streak after failing to gain attention from his father, he broke off his relationships with his brother because of his jealousy and now sits on the edge of the cave alone, and continues his lessons with no interactions with his brothers.
Tanner strives to be a better father than Vincent and wont be able to achieve that with his current pack so he intends to train until he can find a new home.
