During the lesson: To Demeter's surprise, Indumathi found her quite quickly today. Demeter was reminded to mind her tail while hiding, because energetic wagging can be easily heard and seen.
During the lesson: Chasing birds can be a lot of fun, but it took forever today for any to show up and Demeter ended up being bored. She decided to use a different nesting material for the next lesson.
During the lesson: Anandi pretended to be a very hungry coyote today and chased Demeter around the den to test all the dodging techniques in action. The dripping saliva coming from her mouth was a great yucky touch.
During the lesson: Demeter chased her first serious prey today, surprised that rabbits can jump that far and that fast. Adults made it look so easy!
During the lesson: Pandia showed Demeter that every time they take a herb from nature, they must put a small piece of it back into the earth. This is so the herb can sprout again and continue to provide what the pack needs.
During the lesson: Demeter learned how to use the environment to her advantage, to successfully muffle all the sounds she made. Demeter and her littermates were stalking each other, changing their roles from time to time.
