Carnation has always held the thrill of the hunt close to her chest. That's the exact reason why she had become a hunter but now she can't really stand hunting anymore.
She and Heather clash quite a lot so it was hard to work together in the end. Heather was lazy and would only do what she had to. She usually only tracked down easy prey instead of prey that would sufficiently feed the hungry mouths of their pack.
Another reason why she had wanted to become hunter was because she didn't have the patience to stay in the den and take care of restless pups. She had never been good with them, it wasn't really in her nature to be gentle and calming. She had always been loud, upbeat, and really energetic. She liked to be on the run.
She had liked Faye because of her friendly attitude and her curiousity to learn about what was out there. Actually, if Faye let her, she would go out and explore with her from time to time.
Carnation wished Faye would join her on a hunt, she felt as if she would be able to work a little better with her than with Heather. She could also say the same about Elestren. Elestren was so confident that it was visible for everyone to see. Her confidence could lead a successful hunt.
The black furred she-wolf sighed. She would just have to learn to work with Heather until the pups grew old enough to be able to hunt or until new wolves joined their pack and helped them with hunts.
