Biography
Lol, why am I insistent on using my wolves' biographies as my personal notepad?? Like strangers can't read it???
10/19/24 - 11:52 PM
First level 20 lead wolf. 1057 stats. 116 scouts. 88 battles, 77 of those won. Success rate of 87.5%. Got it at 7 years and 5.5 months of age.
10/03/24
I'm back again after abandoning my account for a year. It wasn't intentional I swear.
Starting stats: 589?
589 + 418 = 1,007?
909 + 1827 = 2,736
Achiset is 25% inbred but that's okay 👍
12/8/22 6:17 PM
Vivian was my first level 20 wolf. Her starting stats were 322, her current stats are 840. She gained 518 stats over her lifetime, 100 more than I thought she would! It took her
268 scouts to get there though!
8/11/23 11:32 PM
Jomei hit level 20 at 5 years and 2 months. His birth stats were 649. I bought him when he was at 723 stats. He is now 1,246 stats. He gained 597 stats over his lifetime. It took 253 scouts and 12 (4 successful) hunts to get there.
8/13/23 3:58 PM
Name suggestions: Helietta, Elochilen, Elocin, Domina Canem, Medicine Man, Life Alert, Whiskey Fever, Maurice, Rambo, I may reuse names bc why not.
8/12/23 10:33 AM
Achiset hit 1,005 stats at level 19.

I'm built like Mickey Mouse.

It's nice to be back after abandoning my account for like what, 6 months? 🗿Anyways, A few days ago I've been thinking about making some Resident Evil characters as wolves on Wolvden, as I love Resident Evil and wolves, but that's if I could actually get my shit together, I bet I could have it done in a few months. Also, I have two new sons, Atticus Finch and Blitz Leviticus, we got them March 7th this year, totally unexpected. Dobie said that she wouldn't own rats anymore, welp, we saw how that went. First time owning males, I'm surprised Dobie allowed it.
Also, mental note (or physical, whatevs) I plan on dropping special bases from my breeding programs eventually. Not as in mass producing them but as in no longer producing them. I won't sell my current wolves such as Iskra or Jomei but I want to gear to a more natural wolf look. Pink and blue wolves are pretty but the naturalness of the wild is what I crave, that's partially why I love wolves, they are crafted by nature. If a special base looks realistic, or if I can at least make it look that way, I'll keep it and willingly breed for it. High stat, natural looking wolves is what I'll aim for, even if it takes forever.

I'm back again after abandoning it for 3 months 🍷🗿 Plus, I'm back in my Red Dead Redemption phase. Obsessing over my perfectly normal, healthy husbands: Arthur Morgan and Dutch Van Der Linde. (I'm just as delusional as Dutch.)
8/5/23 10:14 PM
At the Dollar General near Walmart, I pet a 3 month old Rottweiler puppy this morning, around 12-ish. My original/very first favorite breed of dog. His name was Kelo (Kilo?). He was so sweet and soft. I never understood why people liked puppy breath until that moment. I'd hug him forever if I could. I kinda feel bad for the other lady who didn't get to pet him because I ended up stealing all his attention. The serotonin boost was crazy.
Speaking on favorite dog breeds, in the order that they have changed over the years it is: 1.) Rottweiler - My first favorite breed but Dobie didn't like them so I switched to 2.) German Shepherd - I was obsessed with them for about 5 years. Don't know what made me change though, self realization?
3.) Akita - Love them but their SSA & AA is not ideal for me right now. I like having packs of dogs and various other animals, not ideal at all. I'll probably get them when I'm like 60+ and want to be an old hag left alone in the forest.
4.) Anatolian Shepherd - Still my #1 favorite but I don't own lots of acreage or have the experience to own them yet, so for now, they are a distant "future dog" goal.
5.) Bernese Mountain Dog - The dog I plan on getting. Plus, if I were a dog, this is what I'd probably be, even though I'd want to be something more menacing. They're hairy, larger than average, friendly but aloof, smart but stubborn, have thick legs, big feet, yearn for snow and the mountains, somewhat protective, chill - like a stoner, and dear god I hope you have pet insurance as they can rack up vet bills. So yeah, me as a dog. I've been in surgery 4, about to be 5, times now in not even 20 years? This is America, and that's a lot of money!
6.) Greater Swiss Mountain Dog - I actually kinda prefer them to BMDs, I plan on getting one after my BMD. Only con I have about this breed is that they can be hard to house break. That's it. Perfect dog for me otherwise.
7.) Siberian Husky - I want them, I love them but god I hate the gate keeping. German Shepherd and Husky people are some of the most annoying people you'll ever meet to be honest, and I'm saying this as someone who loves both breeds. No, your backyard bred German Shepherd isn't going to protect you and no, your Husky doesn't need an instagram account.

When Heretic and Lilith CROAK she and Texas will most likely take spot as lead wolves.
It's 11:33 - 11:38 PM and I hear the trains blowing their horns (is that what its called?) and running on its tracks. Literally sitting in my bed thinking about how in a few years I will most likely be somewhere else, I hate this shitty little town as its boring and has very few opportunities but damn I'll miss it, especially the sounds like these that really imprinted on my childhood. I can't wait to get away but at the same time I want to stay, I feel conflicted. I'm also thinking about how I'll completely forget this night like any other until I'll log on Wolvden and see this paragraph, hopefully, I will still play Wolvden (and Lioden) for many years to come. Anyways, it's getting late, and I should stop typing as people can read this and it's weird that they know this now.
9/7/22 10:03 PM
Heretic has passed (coincidentally my rat died on the 6th at like 11:50 ish PM, Rest In Peace Snow Angel/Snowy, you evil biscuit) and now is joined with Lilith. Achiset & Texas are now the new lead wolves. Using Ami would have been destroying a good hunting party.
I'll miss Heretic (and my rat :<) but I gotta move on I guess. We buried her this morning next to her sister Salem (I miss you too Salem), despite that I don't cry when anything dies and so far can keep moving like nothing happened (for now, we'll see how long I'll last) I still get kinda affected :/ particularly when I'm able to sit down and just think.
I'll type all my rats' birth & death dates here, as for some reason I'm so convinced I'm going to lose my mind and forget everything despite the fact that I'm not even 20 yet.
1. Bella Star ( or was it 2 r's?) = 12/29/17 (don't actually know when she was born just the day we got her) - 3/5/18. You were a wild cotton rat, and my first rat, but you got in our house and we tamed you, you were surprisingly sweet for a wild animal. R.I.P.
2. (Miss) Bliss Estella = 9/10/18 - 7/18/20. It's upsetting that cancer took you so soon and so fast but when we had you, you were really sweet, and petty. Always building nests and tearing things up. Very in your face type of rat but also a lady. As of 9/7/22 you were the largest rat I've owned.
3. DD Snookums = 9/10/18 - 4/6/21. My favorite (sshhh, I didn't say that) I loved your little hardheaded arse. DD stood for dåmn determined, because you were, but also incredibly sweet and was the only rat to let me roll them into a burrito. I remember the time I tried to grab you with one hand only for you to scream and run to my other for safety. Very stubborn, often to a fault. 60% chance she'd head butt you then give you a kiss, but then steal your snacks.
4. Emma Starr = 9/10/18 - 8/6/21 (could've been the 7th or 8th too can't really remember y'all die so much). Very sweet, never knew where she was, or who she was as she was Chita's identical twin, so her name was either Chita or Emma depending on how fat she was. Miss her very much, somehow both Emma and Chita developed hind leg degeneration as they got older, surprisingly took them the longest to develop tumors.
5. Chita Shireé (I forgot how her middle name's spelled okay, leave me lone) = 9/10/18 - 12/8/21. The only rat we've had so far to make it to 3 years, also incredibly sweet, and lazy, and fat. Was usually fatter than Emma, eventually we used markers on their tails to be able to tell the difference.
6. Salem Esmeralda = 12/4/19 - 3/8/22. Took me a month to give you a middle name but I had to think of the perfect one, lol. The only dumbo we've had. Very cute, always insecure looking, I don't know if it was a dumbo thing or a Salem thing. Always scared too, the few times I had to bathe her she decided to scream, a lot, all the time. Could've been in Opera, 1000/10 singing. Had the claws of a witch.
7. Snow "Snowy" Angel = 12/4/19 - 9/6/22. Crazy and probably blind. First albino rat, very athletic and was an avid escape artist. When you got old and couldn't move as much anymore you became more of a brat, I can't really blame you, but you've bitten me a considerable amount of times since your old age. I loved you but god you were quite the ahhshole.
8. Claudia Snickerdoodle = 12/4/19 - 9/13/22. Biggest. Fear biter. I. Have. Seen. Yet. Ma didn't like you very much because you bit so much, and she almost put you to sleep because of it. But I had faith in you, I had faith that you were a good rat, just scared, you were a feeder rat, after all.
When you developed a tumor on your throat (I think?) Ma decided to get it removed because it was causing you many problems. After your successful surgery, you were stuck in a small cage for 2 weeks next to my bed. I was your only source of entertainment and companionship for a whole 2 weeks. You learned that I (and humans and general) was not so bad after all, and started giving me kisses and letting me pet and hold you more often. It's a shame it took you literally being sliced and put in solitary confinement to finally like me, but hey, better now than never right?
During those 2 weeks I hardly slept because I was afraid that you were going chew open your wounds like Bliss. Bliss has given me some trauma (or maybe a lot) when it comes to small animals and surgery, but luckily you weren't like that. I could actually trust you to have your elizabethan collar off because you didn't immediately try to sabotage yourself, only rat I could trust to do that with. You hated taking your meds but hey most pets do, you had your problems but when it came to surgery you were the easiest rat ever. Thank you.
Another thing I learned about you was that you were a rat's rat. You helped take care of Chita when she got old and crippled. Chita ended up passing the one night you weren't with her. Thank you for that too.
You were very sweet, just misunderstood, but also criminalistic (that's not a word is it) you stole my peridot ring when I was petting you once time, I got it back though.
9. Mocha (Fvcking/look it rhymed) Matoka = 12/4/19 - 12/24/22. You're still alive as we speak (11/13/22) and honestly, I'm sorry. I know this sounds wrong but I hope you peacefully pass soon. I hate keeping you alone, and I hate that you're old and crippled. I would've gotten more rats in a heartbeat when it was just you and Claudia last but I'm not in a place in life where I can control my life yet. And were not in a place to get more rats either, so you will be our last for now. Well my mother's last permanently but only mine temporarily.
I love you dearly, and I know that no matter how many treats and rubs I give you I will never be able to compensate another rat's companionship. You are a very sweet and lovable rat, but also chubby, because you like food and your genetics (Hey, I can relate). At least your cute when your fat. You were also very petty and prissy, you'd walk with your tail raised if your environment wasn't "clean enough" for you. I love you very much, and I hope that when you rest you rest peacefully.
I don't know what comes after death, whether it's the clouds of heaven or sparks of hell, or if there is an afterlife, or if anything comes after death at all, but I hope it's nice and peaceful for you.
12/24/22 So you've passed today, after Dobie literally told you not to die this week because of how cold it was. We'll bury you next to your sisters. Dobie says these y'all are last rats she'll ever own because her heart can't take it. Y'all won't be the last for me though, y'all were just the beginning, thanks for being mine though, my experience with you guys will shape me into a better rat owner in the future.
Dobie says these are her last rats, so the critter nation is officially mine now! When I get the chance to, I'll give it a nice scrub, try to fix any rust on it, sandblast it, and repaint it with Rust-Oleum. I'll keep it with me for as long as it lasts, besides, it's a nice memory to keep with me, I've had it since I was 12 and my early rats have lived in it. I buried them in this order for some reason: Claudia, Salem, Snow, [Mocha will be here].
(11/13/22) 1:51 PM - 2:30 PM
To all of the rats I have owned, I love you all very much and you all have taught me a little something more about these great little creatures. I'm happy rats are getting the recognition they deserve, they're great pets, but please to whomever may be interested in these animals, DO YOUR RESEARCH. They are cheap yet also confusingly expensive to keep and maintain. I strive to be the best rat owner of my ability for when I get rats again in the future, I'll probably get bucks next time, as does tend to have many health issues.
If anyone's actually reading this (probably not lol), here's some advice I can offer on rats. But please keep in mind this is from my limited experience and to take it with a grain of salt, as it may be outdated or whatnot. Also, keep in mind there is no one way or "right way" to raise a pet, and that nobody, and I mean NOBODY, is an absolute guru at the keeping of any animal species and never believe what someone says without fact checking first:
(I may update this a lot)
1. Do your research, yeah I know I just told you that but I mean it, I don't care how much you hate it (personally, its my favorite part of getting a pet), it will set you and your pet(s) up for success when first getting them. You will also likely be doing some research even once you've became an experienced owner, I've had rats and researched them for years yet there's still things I learn about them. When I was 11/12 I researched rats for 7 or more months before getting them, if I can do it, you can too. Knowledge is power.
2. From my personal experience, Kiln Dried Pine is fine to use for bedding, read it again, KILN DRIED PINE. If you get pine use KILN DRIED and nothing else, even if you get aspen I still suggest getting kiln dried aspen. As someone who has used both pine and aspen, both are often dusty regardless, I recommend sifting the bedding before using it, or at least shaking it before putting it in their cage. Out of laziness and lack of space, I left my bags of bedding open and in front of a window, I heard that helps decrease dustiness but I'm not too sure. So far, out of 8 fancy rats, only 1 of mine has had a respiratory infection, and that was likely caused by old age and cold/humid weather rather than bedding.
3. If you plan on getting does (female rats) and are thinking of getting them spayed, please do so, yes, it is often expensive and tedious, but it decreases (not eliminate) the chances of mammary tumors and other health problems. We have spent well over 1000$ on ONE RAT for removing tumors (that ended up being cancer and never fully healing anyway, resulting in having to put that rat asleep) when we could have gotten multiple spayed with that money. It is cheaper in the long run to just spay does, I will likely do it every future doe I have.
4. Please do not get pissy with the prices that many vets have for spaying/neutering/treating rats, yes, many times spaying a rat can be as much as (if not more than) spaying a dog, its okay to want to look around to find cheaper prices, and if you do find a reputable vet with cheap prices, great. But the main reason why many vets charge so much for something so small is because small animals like rats can go downhill VERY fast, and often require a LOT of monitoring. They could be okay one second then dead the next. This also leads to understanding that there is ALWAYS A RISK with surgery, I understand if you're upset that your rat died but unless you suspect malpractice your vet tried everything in their power to save them, please be respectful and understanding, there is a reason why svicide rates are high in the veterinary field.
5. At the bare minimum, you should have 2 rats, but I suggest getting 4 or more. When 1 of your 2 rats die, you'll need to get more to keep them company, rats aren't/shouldn't be sold alone, they are sold/adopted in pairs. So, regardless, you'll end up with more than 2 rats. Rats also seem to do better in groups rather than in pairs, and plus, you have more rats to love!

I am deadass scared of my surgery tomorrow, lol. I've been under 4 times now, I don't know why I'm actually kind of scared of this one. I need to stop being a wuss and go to bed. I'll wake up, I always do.
8/14/23 9:18 PM
Okay, so I lived. It's been a long day, I hope they didn't make my boobs too small, I'd like to keep my hour-glass-ish shape. I may be fat but I am balanced. Right now I'm all ass, lol. They said they have them compressioned (that a word?), I hope that's the case. The nurse accidentally blew one of my veins out on my left wrist, but I'll be okay. I don't know why she didn't just do my hand instead, I usually have very visible veins there. Though that's usually when I'm working on land, so maybe that's the difference. So, in turn, they had to IV my right elbow pivot.
Nonetheless, she said I took it like a champ, to which of course I did (/s) I've been under for the 5th time now. How many more times will I have to go under though? This is why I say I'm like a BMD, I suggest you have insurance cause I'm an expensive bitch!1!1!1!!1 Anyways, I hope I heal just fine, so I can get my glasses, then get my license, so then I can go get a real job, so I can start saving for my future useless, expensive animals. My current plan is more rats/more for my rats> snakes> BMD> GSMD> SH (possibly 2x)> and idk after that. Oh yeah, wait, the main one between all of these is HORSE RIDING LESSONS, other than for my surgery, they're literally the only reason why I lost weight. Lose weight for a boyfriend: ❌. Lose weight for a horse: ✅.
