It's surprising to many that Forte isn't a mother of her own, because it's been proven time and time again that Forte is a great mother figure to the younger wolves of the pack. Forte has an average build, a warm thick pelt, and a soothing voice. Because of her past, Forte sympathizes with lost pups that find their way into the pack without a family, and takes on the parent role that she believes they should have. She's kind with adult wolves aswell.
Before Forte was held captive, she was kept isolated from other wolves, including her family. When she was sold to a human, it didn't get any better, and she never saw them again. The human she was owned by was a kind pianist, which is how Forte got her name. She grew to love her owner, but deep down, she knew that she had to find her family again. As soon as she was found by a wild wolf, Forte was excited to escape and finally find her family. Forte joined the pack and became a scout in hopes that one day, while she explored beyond the territory, she could find them. She never did. Forte settled down with her mate, Bateye, and became a pupsitter— one of the best pupsitters at that. Her mate has died of old age, but she can still feel his presence.
Forte is the main wolf that Mercy goes to for advice. She is seen as a parental figure by Lily, despite not being her biological mother.
