Leaf was a lone wolf chosen to leave her birth pack in search of her own. Her family supported this decision due to her natural alpha skills and helpfulness. She has no prejudice against any wolf or their attitudes. She feels they will all find their duties and purposes in the pack in unison. She gets along with any wolf she meets. Leaf would someday find her mate and make her pups to replace her as alpha when the Star Wolves come to take Leaf from her home.
She leaves Mountain to make most of the difficult decisions for her. But, even though they are not mates, they've decided that, for the best interest of the pack, they to carry pups one day to keep the pack alive.
She also allows him to mate with others in the pack for the same reason. She believes that if a wolf is born with any shade of blue eyes, they are sent from the Star Wolves as an asset to the pack, and they hold special abilities within themselves.
