Puphood:
Okropir was not born within the Pack of the Kaskazini. In fact, he was born within one of the neighboring packs; Whitebridge, run by a rather forthcoming brute, Asla. Pallas has always been wary of the gray-pelted male, but has had no issues with him, yet.
It was obvious to Asla that Okropir was not his, and one of his females had went behind his pack to find love from another male. Although he never minded the idea of expanding his bloodlines, another male in the pack that wasn’t related to him just posed endless risks to his throne. Okropir wasn’t stupid, he noticed all the half-hearted gestures, all the disdainful glances that the others couldn’t mask properly. It was only a matter of time before the pack threw him out. So he left. The second he found himself weaned off of his mother’s milk, Okropir had run as far as he could from Whitebridge, only to collapse days later, alone, starving, and packless.
Pallas had been wandering along the boarders in search of some charcoal, as Iaso had requested. Instead, however, she stumbled upon the much malnourished Okropir. He reeked of Whitebridge. Against her better judgement, she took him in, and carried him all the way home. The pack was quick to take him in— everyone but Harun. Harun, although not completely against the idea of new blood, became incredibly aware of the fact that this pup could become a threat when he grew older. The two were already butting heads by the time Okropir was old enough to decide he wanted to stay within the Kaskazini. Although Pallas was usually against unnecessary amounts of males in her pack, the two grew incredibly close, and she had completely taken him in as her own. Okropir was here to stay.
