Narcissa hesitated for a moment, eyeing the fuzzy black-and-orange bug inching around the grass. She passed a sidelong glare at the older adolescent, who was now leering over her shoulder.
"I will," Narcissa sniped, "once you get your dung breath out of my ear!"
Thyme flicked her tail dismissively, but stepped back anyway, leaving room for Narcissa to stoop down and poke the caterpillar with her nose.
