A neutral and kind of un-opportunistic wolf, Mercury is perfectly content with his life and prefers to stay out of other wolf's businesses, even going as far as to sneak out of them if he gets caught up. While not unfriendly, his less-then-social personality may make it difficult to befriend. He has a neutral relationship with the other wolves but is slightly less unsocial with Artemis and Kelly, who he hunts with. He kinda just wandered into the pride to see if the rumours of the rebuilding of Dawn Pride was true and stayed because of it's comfort
He notably doesn't believe in the tales of the old Dawn Pride, thinking them wives tales (or at the very least that they were never as great as they are said to have been). He stays in the current pack merely for survival but doesn't antagonise the other wolves for their ideologies.
Despite this, he strongly hates the Iron Council (as does everyone else in this pack) and is willing to fight them for Dawn Pride.
