Athyrium never liked to favour any of her pups, but her mate was right; this would be her last litter, and they had paid well for their sire. It took her a few nights to pick out the most confident of the litter, and began to focus her attention on them. They were named Breasal; a strong name, in the hopes of strong leadership, and their days were filled with Athyrium's stories, preparing them with the knowledge they would need to ensure the future of the Amnoon wolves.
As they reached maturity, Breasal joined the hunters to learn the ways of the stalker, and then into adulthood, they began to scout, following in their mother's footsteps; they would need to map the lands for themself once they took over the pack.
