Salem

Salem is a very distant wolf, busying herself with her work rather than with relationships. The pack respects her dedication and skill to her craft, but many judge her choices as a mother. Salem was never close to her pups, leaving the nursery as soon as possible to return to being an herbalist. She also never revealed who the father was, which the pack understood, but her pups resented her for as they grew up. No one knows why she ever even chose to have pups. Ripley is especially bitter towards her mother, and wishes she grew up when there were more wolves like Zero and Belle in the pack, wolves who act as parental figures to every member. Salem also used to be mates with the pack leader, Himari, before the pack began to grow and consequently Salem distanced herself more and more from the pack. This led to Salem and Himari ending their relationship, with both parties remaining neutral towards each other.
