Syn

Syn had always been close to Igor, ever since the two were pups. Since she was the leaders favored daughter she was put under quite a lot of pressure to be perfect and set an example to the pack, but Igor just wanted to do her own thing. Syn felt for his best friend. He tried cheering her up whenever he got the chance, although sometimes it was difficult. Syn could barely relate to her situation. He was adopted into the pack very young so the only parents he knew were his sweet adopted mother and then the stern leader of the pack who accepted him with open paws.

But one morning Syn awoke to find Igor had disappeared. He was hurt she didn't say goodbye at all and worried his best friend would get into danger. Her mother and father were in a frenzy, sending out parties of scouts to try and find her. But it was futile, Igor knew exactly how to avoid a scout. So to his surprise, Syn was asked to venture away from the pack and bring her back. It was his honor.

It was difficult tracking her so far, Igor was quite a sly wolf but she'd shared some of her tricks with him in the past so Syn prevailed. He found her in a vast grassland. She looked so happy. Syn was overcome with emotion and couldn't help but be glad for her. It was dangerous for a long wolf out here though. He would never forgive himself if anything happened to his friend, so Syn swore he'd stay by Igor's side. It was difficult saying goodbye to his mother, but she encouraged him to go. And so Syn became an Open Skies wolf.

He hunted and Igor took on the duties of lead wolf. After some time they even had a daughter and invited some other wolves into the pack. Things were looking up.
