Compassionate, analytical, imaginative, adaptable, and generous, September is the granddaughter of the pack's founder, Ember. September's mother and the daughter of Ember, Pepper, was fortunate enough to live alongside the queen for many moons - which meant that when Ember eventually took her place among the stars, both her son and daughter were in no position to assume such a role given their age. Yet a blood descendent was still needed, so with her last breaths Ember appointed a nervous and distraught September to assume her role, who now dons her grandmother's royal attire.

Bearing a noticeable resemblance to her grandmother, both in appearance and spirit, the pack has accepted September as their new leader with enthusiasm and ease. Though she has much to live up to, September is committed to furthering Ember's legacy and continually calls upon her guidance - as well as unsolicited (yet valuable) advice from Moeru, the royal family's avian familiar.
