Ganymedes

During the lesson: In the lesson today, Ganymedes and Caelia learned how strategy can be useful when hunting in a group and trying to chase a big prey animal like Vesta pretended to be. With group coordination and a perfectly timed call, Caelia was able to tackle the pretend-elk to the ground.

During the lesson: Vesta showed Ganymedes that every time they take a herb from nature, they must put a small piece of it back into the earth. This is so the herb can sprout again and continue to provide what the pack needs.

During the lesson: Caelia's skill definitely showed much improvement after the lesson today. Ganymedes didn't hear anything and let out a surprised bark when Caelia jumped at him after sneaking up behind him.

Ganymedes learned being the fastest isn't always the only necessary factor of success. Vesta explained basic methods of fooling a potential prey or a pursuer.

Ganymedes mentions that they left something for you nearby, adding that it will be quite useful. When you start to thank them, they leave without another word.

You're surprised that Ganymedes remembers each tiny detail and time of various events. You never focus on those things, but at least someone does!

During the lesson: Vesta took a particularly fun toy in her mouth before hiding among foliage and large boulders. Ganymedes was expected to find and ambush her and the toy would be his reward.

During the lesson: Ganymedes chased his first serious prey today, surprised that rabbits can jump that far and that fast. Adults made it look so easy!
