Stag waited out of sight under a bush until Saffron walked by without noticing them. Just as Jabberwock demonstrated, Stag jumped from the bush and tackled Saffron to the ground successfully.
Stag tried using his tongue to recognize the herb by taste, but Jabberwock rushed to lecture the class about toxic plants. Better safe than sorry!
