Lucy joined the pack as an adolescent from a neighboring pack. This was her second time in a new pack. She was adopted once before, but it didn't last long. Circumstances had left her feeling unloved and aggressive towards others. She often picked fights with other wolves as a way of lashing out for all the hurt she felt. This landed her in the herbalist cave more often than not.
The new herbalist to the pack, Shadow Flame, was around her age, and someone she had often picked fights with in training. She expected him to gloat over how often she was hurt when she would come in, but he never did. His friendly personality and handsome face became the only medicine she needed, and she eventually just started showing up just to see him.
