This wolf is actively pupsitting - his energy regeneration is paused. This wolf has not rolled over today and will not be able to be traded or gifted until its next rollover.
With kind, yet stern eyes and a keen, finely tuned mind this sire makes for a good babysitter. He tends to notice the little things and read on what is going on, everyone of course respecting him for the noble position. But- he still gets bullied, often, by the puppies.
Though he's a model for wisdom and integrity, Phoenix has always bit off more than he can chew, and then offered more. With no less than a hoard of puppies attacking him at all times he seems to always be in a chaotic daze. His sweet and stern voice scolding the wiggling menaces, but not affecting them in the slightest.
Most of the Adults and Adolescents attempt to chime in, or help but he quickly sends them away where they all watch him struggle. With the older pups thrashing about and tackling him or eachother, there's also the younger ones, or the newly weaned ones trying to nurse on him. And of course this scene causes for a laughingstock all about the pack wolves, while the other pupsitter typically only has one or two.

"Phoenix, I have a proposition." Alsaltwin chimed her tailed beating the air excitedly. The newly joined lupine only tipped his head back to watch her.
"Huh?"
"I want to offer you something you can't refuse."
"And what's that?" He scoffed
"I want you to be a pupsitter." She smiled, her tongue lolling gently to the side.
Phoenix bursted into laughter, gasping for breath as he wheezed at the thought. "Me? Why would I do that, that's way too much responsibility-" He cut himself off as he turned around at the sound of light chirping. Well it was actually obnoxious chirping, but only his hearing could pull it from that far away. "Will you two shut up and stop fighting? Your mother left two seconds ago!"
Alsaltwin tipped her head.
"Birds." Phoenix said turning around, "They won't shut up."
"You give off dad vibes. There's that too."
"How do you figure!?"
"And this is why I want you to be pupsitter, you're so keen and observant. I can't even hear where the birds are and you heard the mother fly away."
The brute paused, his tail straight out in thought before he sighed, "What's my first assignment and what do I get in return."
