Noxus strolled through the trees, coated in patches of moonlight. His breath slightly becoming visible, and his tongue becoming Icey, signaling winter was soon. His paws loudly ruffling the grass it touched, exposing his presence to whatever was out there.
But that was what he wanted, he had heard rumors of abnormal things happening here, he wanted to find out what was causing it. He only hoped he didn't happen to run into any wandering packmates in the process.
He kept trotting through the trees, admiring the blue light shining across the earth. He couldn't find anything out of the ordinary. Just blue this, blue that, blue trees, blue roots.. wait... what? This blue light wasn't coming from the moon? It was coming from the ground.. no, a lake! He rushed to the water. He looked at it, it didn't seem to glow up close, but a mere reflection from the moon wasn't enough to light up a whole forest.

He sniffed it, nothing. He padded around, afraid to touch it. He sniffed again.. Ah! Some dust was in his nose. He sneezed it out, it's glowing! ...Glowing dust? What?
He was confused, but if the glowing dust won't harm him, surely the water will be the same? Hopefully? He gently placed his paw in. Nothing happened.
He kept interacting with the water, hoping he would find some sort of reaction. Nothing. It didn't even start to illuminate like the rumors had said. How disappointing.
He was ready to leave, putting his already soaked paw into the lake one last time to check if it would finally react. He heard a twig snap behind one of the trees.
He almost jumped, he turned around to see a wolf covered in blue and black walking out of the shadows holding a dead grouse.
"And I was hoping to surprise you. Long time no see." She said calmly.
"Echo!? You've been missing for weeks! Months!" he yelled nervously
"I'm aware." She rubbed her shoulder against his and stepped in the lake.
